Join a Kingdom Community
KCs are families in Jesus learning the Kingdom together. They are the heartbeat of our church, where we follow Jesus together around a table twice a month with a group of 15-20 men and women. We have Kingdom Communities that meet in Westwood, Mar Vista, and Sawtelle on Tuesday or Wednesday nights.
Discipleship Groups
Once you are in a Kingdom Community, you can join a Discipleship Group. In DG, you Read Scripture, pray, and meaningfully connect with a group of 3-5 men or women from your Kingdom Community every week.
Belong to one another.
Mission Partnership is our form of church membership. It flows from our desire to see The Commons LA help as many people as possible follow Jesus, serve the church, and get on mission by embracing simple, biblically based agreements that grace our souls and advance God’s mission.

Join us for dinner as we dive into Scripture, pray, and process how to live in God’s kingdom together as men.

Film and Theology
We’ll watch Pixar’s Inside Out together (popcorn and tissues provided) before discussing its surprising symbiosis with Christian anthropology. In addition to learning God’s plan for so-called ‘positive’ and ‘negative’ emotions, you’ll walk away with a new understanding of how to engage our culture for the glory of God.
